How much does the tour cost?
Our stylish 2-seat convertible car costs £60 per tour and our 4-seater with clear panoramic roof is £95 - perfect for families. That's under £24 per person! For our 4-seater, we can provide a Yonda driver for £25 - just bear in mind that means there are only 3 seats left for you!
How does the tour work?
See the city your way! The car is fitted with our cutting-edge technology which will guide you along our brilliantly-researched route, giving turn-by-turn directions on the car's satnav screen and fun and informative commentary based on your location. The tour is designed for you to drive so that you're exploring the city. But if you prefer, we can provide a Yonda driver.
Can I do the tour if I don't have a driving licence?
Yes! You can take the 4-seater and add a Yonda driver - just bear in mind that means there are only 3 seats left for you!
How long does the tour last?
Around 1½ hours.
Where will I go on the tour?
On an adventure into the heart of London... through exclusive Mayfair and St James's, the vibrant streets of Soho and Covent Garden, the iconic history of Trafalgar Square and Whitehall and the splendour of Westminster and Buckingham Palace... unless there are any road closures, in which case we'll route you around them.
What will I see on the tour?
Bond Street, Savile Row, St James's Palace, the bright lights of Piccadilly Circus, the legendary clubs and bars of Soho, the Covent Garden Piazza, Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column, Downing Street, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.... and more... unless there are any road closures, in which case we'll route you around them.
Can I stop along the way?
Of course! If you want to grab a quick cup of coffee just park (legally, of course!) and go ahead! Once you re-start the car your tour will resume. You have 1¾ hours from the start of your tour to return the car. If you do keep it longer, there's a charge (£30 per hour for the 2-seater, £45 per hour for the 4-seater and £60 per hour for the 4-seater with Yonda driver).
Which language is the tour in?
English for now... although we are planning to launch other languages soon.
How many people can go on the tour?
We have a fleet of 2-seater and 4-seater cars and, if you need more than one car, simply check availability when booking. Of course, if you take the 4-seater with a Yonda driver, there will only be 3 seats for you.
How old do you have to be to drive a Yonda car?
At least 25 and no older than 75 - sorry, this is a condition of our insurance!
What do I need to bring with me?
If you are driving and have a UK driving licence
, please bring:
• your driving licence AND
• your credit or debit card.
If you are driving and have a NON-UK driving licence
, please bring:
• your driving licence (and, if it's in a script we can't read, also an international driving licence) AND
• your passport or national ID card AND
• your credit or debit card
If you are taking a Yonda driver and so are not driving, you don't need to bring anything!
What is a Yonda car?
Our cars are Smart cars - either 2-seat convertibles or 4-seaters with clear panoramic roof. All our cars are automatic, easy to drive... and very cool. The best city cars around!
Am I insured?
Yes, we provide fully comprehensive insurance cover as part of the cost of the tour.
Do I have to pay the Congestion Charge or petrol?
No. We cover these.
Can a child do the tour?
Provided they're not driving! Any child who's 4 or older can be a passenger in a Yonda car.
Will you provide a child's booster seat if I need one?
Yes, for any children younger than 12 who are shorter than 135cm.
What if I turn up late?
Please try your best not to. If you do arrive late, we'll get you on the next available tour but you may have to wait a while or even come back another day.
What if I want to cancel?
No problem. Just send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org at least 24 hours before the time of your tour and we'll give you a full refund.
How much fun will I have?
Loads - the most fun you could ever have in a car... well almost!
